Joseph Chua, Application Architect, GAIN Capital - Joseph is an Application Architect at GAIN Capital, focusing on application design, promoting design patterns within the development team and identifying and addressing performance issues of applications. He has more than 10+ years software development experience and has held previous software development roles at Vantage Classic and as a consultant.
Mike Gradilone, Senior Developer, Trading, J.P Morgan Asset Management - Mike provides project management, technical and development resources, and best practices for institutions like J.P. Morgan Asset Management who are implementing or integrating with trade order management systems, compliance systems, accounting systems, and other financial technology solutions. Previous roles have included vice president of client implementations at Tradeweb, and equity trading support consultant at TIAA-CREF.
Phil Martin, Senior Consultant, Datasports - Phil has over 15 years of experience designing and implementing software, and leading complex software projects in the medical, online collaboration, and financial services domains. His current venture is Datasports Inc, a consulting firm focused entirely on delivering Complex Event Processing solutions primarily to the financial / capital markets industry. Previous roles have included architect at Bank of Nova Scotia, architect at Scotia Capital, and software architect at Perimeter Financial.
[Moderator] Richard Tibbetts, Co-Founder and CTO, StreamBase Systems - Richard provides technical leadership for the company and leads architecture design for StreamBase’s Event Processing Platform. As CTO, Richard directs the next-generation of StreamSQL, the event programming language developed by Richard and the StreamBase team, which applies the benefits of SQL for stored data to real-time transitory data. Richard earned both his BS in Computer Science and Engineering, and Masters of Engineering Degrees at MIT. He completed his graduate research under the direction of Dr. Mike Stonebraker, StreamBase’s founder.
