This event brings together topics from StreamBase’s October web seminars and provides an open forum for business and IT professionals engaged in real-time systems and strategies to meet like-minds whilst learning how the latest in low latency, Complex Event Processing (CEP) technology is being leveraged by some of the world’s top investment firms and hedge funds.

About the Speakers
Simon Keen is a technologist with more than 25 years experience specialising in advanced software systems of which more than 10 years has been spent delivering solutions to financial services firms across a wide range of asset classes. Keen is currently European Technical Director of StreamBase Systems, a company specialising in high-performance Complex Event Processing (CEP). Keen holds a computer science degree from the University of Hertfordshire.
Vivake Gupta is a founder and Managing Director at Lab49. He is based in the London office, and works with a number of existing clients overseeing Lab49’s engagements and advising them on technology direction across a wide range of areas within capital markets. Additionally, he devotes a fair amount of time to introducing new clients to Lab49’s services, and helping to develop and publicize the capabilities of the firm. He runs Lab49’s international operations.
