The Manual Input view provides the simplest way to get tuples into an application via one of its input streams, because it allows you to send hand-typed tuples and immediately see the results in the Application Output View. By default, each tuple is also logged to the Application Input View.

To send tuples through an application using the Manual Input view (and also the Feed Simulations View), the application must be running. For more information, see Running Applications.
By default, the Manual Input view is located in the upper left corner of the SB Test/Debug perspective.

To display a context-sensitive Help view that provides a brief description of the view and links to more information, click any area within the view and then press F1 on Windows, or Ctrl-F1 on Linux.
