This topic describes the Focus Selector view.
The Focus Selector view displays a simplified schematic of the EventFlow. You can use it to navigate around a large EventFlow and to view details, as shown in the following diagram:
There are several ways to change the focus area:

In the EventFlow:

Use the zoom controls to see more or less detail.

Drag the horizontal and vertical sliders to move around. Alternatively, hold the middle mouse button down and drag the diagram.
As you change the focus area, notice the insert box within the Focus Selector view, moving or changing size at the same time. The inset box dynamically outlines the current focus area.

In the Focus Selector view, drag the inset box around to change the focus area.
Whichever method you use, the Focus Selector and EventFlow always remain synchronized.
To display a context-sensitive Help view or an InfoPop that provides a brief description of the view and links to more information, click any area within the view and then press F1 on Windows, or Ctrl-F1 on Linux. For information about managing the windows, please see Studio Tips and Tricks.
