StreamBase and Reuters have created a series of extensions to StreamBase that enable developers to leverage the growing range of content types delivered over RMDS via a highly productive graphical application development environment.

StreamBase Reuters Edition combines three significant capabilities in one platform—rapid development, extreme performance, and seamless integration with RMDS.

Rapid Development

Featuring the industry's first and only graphical event-flow language, the Studio development environment provides rich graphical support for the full application lifecycle, spanning feed integration, application modeling and development, testing, debugging, and connectivity with downstream systems and interactive dashboards. Extreme Performance

CEP applications built using StreamBase Reuters Edition execute on the StreamBase Server™, an ultra low-latency application server optimized for processing real-time event data at throughput rates of up to hundreds of thousands of messages/second per CPU. The Server’s multi-threaded architecture runs on 64-bit operating systems, takes full advantage of multi-core CPUs, scales readily across blades and clusters, and offers enterprise-class resilience (high availability) and security options.

Seamless Integration with Any RMDS Data source and Stored Data

Any content from any source available over RMDS can be easily integrated, including pricing data from more than 180 exchanges globally together with market-leading OTC and broker contributed content, ultra-low latency full-tick data direct from exchange feeds, and real-time news feeds. StreamBase also readily integrates with data stored in JDBC-compliant relational databases.
