Ivan O'Sullivan Joins StreamBase As Vice President Of Sales & Business Development
BOSTON, MA – June 13, 2005 — StreamBase Systems, Inc., the pioneer of enterprise-class stream processing software designed to transform real-time complex events into instantaneous competitive advantage, today announced that Ivan O'Sullivan has joined the company as the vice president of sales and business development. Reporting directly to StreamBase's CEO Barry Morris, O'Sullivan will provide leadership and strategic direction in the development of customers and partnerships in key growth markets for StreamBase, including financial services, the military and networking, where there is a strong demand for high-performance applications that can process and analyze streaming data in real-time.

"His extensive background in the enterprise infrastructure space and deep understanding of issues relating to data management will allow him to play a major role in introducing StreamBase's technology to our target markets. O'Sullivan brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure sales, marketing and business development to StreamBase, with expertise in growing technology company revenues and global expansion. O'Sullivan joins StreamBase from Signiant Inc, a leader in remote data control, where he was the senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Prior to Signiant, O'Sullivan was the vice president of worldwide corporate development at Clearswift, the world's leading provider of security software for electronic communications, where he developed its North American operations and led worldwide business development activities. While at Clearswift, he helped increase the revenue stream more than tenfold to over $50 million, making Clearswift the number one security provider in its market. O'Sullivan was also a founding president for Elron Software, the leader in Internet policy management software, and founding vice president of marketing for ON Technology. He has held various sales and marketing positions at technology companies in the US and UK.
